Its 84 here today.......they say there's a big blizzard heading our way. Hmmmmm..... Texas weather. One day flip flops ...tomorrow snow boots!!

Roper was heading to the panhandle tomorrow for a judging contest and it was canceled due to the weather.

Last week we took a trip to Visalia to See Rudy and family. W took a side trip to Hanford, a city next to Visalia. In the downtown area there is still the old Hanford and there we toured the old courthouse, the old Hanford Auditorium, and some really beautiful old restored houses. We had a huge ice cream platter for four in and old ice cream shoppe that belongs to a dairy in the downtown area. Great ice cream. We had an enjoyable day there and the rest of the time we spent eating. LOL. All in all we had an enjoyable short trip.

You all know who this is cause you know that this is the kid that gets on her the most since his mom is the administrator!!! Hahhaa!!! If someone else would post pictures there wouldn't be this problem---hahaha!

Roper is 18 today. Getting ready for college. He is decided to accept a schloarship offer to South Plains College in Levelland , Texas . Levelland is about 25 mi. west of Lubbock. His schloarship is in Livestock judging. They travel to all the stockshows in Texas and southern states judging . After two years there hopefully he will flow into Texas Tech. Alot of them do that who are on the judging team. They go judge for Texas Tech. I am so excited for him but sad to see him go off.....away from Mom. He wants to go into livestock production ...but he is inspiring to be a state representative one day .........and I know my son can do it. He is just like his grandma and mom.....loves to argue politics.

Had to post this picture of Roper taken at the stock show in San Angelo. This was his last stock show to show in . I always wanted a picture like this to hang on my wall,,,from my little farm boy.
I won't have nothing to post after Roper graduates this May so who else is going to putting up pictures.......????

Mom is home

Just in case you don't know ...Mom was released this morning. Sylvia drove up from Ft. Worth as earlyas she could so she could fix mom 's hair before everyone got out of church and it was for nothing!!! Hahaha... they will be playing beauty shop i'm sure today . Mom may be sick but her hair is going to look ALIVE!!!

Just got home from KC . Mom seemed to be doing better. When I got there she was sleeping and I mean sleeping . She was snoring and didn't even know I came in and had a seat.

She is bored and can't seem to lay there . I told her to just lay..and rest so she put it on her FOX... and it seemed to make her sit still. There are a total of 3 patients at the hospital ...so they are pretty much there if she needs something . I am thinking with another dose of antiboitics or so and another chest treatment ...she should be able to go home by Monday. At the time I left she was more concerned on how her hair looked. I am leaving that to her other daughter that will be there tomorrow. I was more concerned with providing company than good looks !! Hahaha.

Dad ...seems lost without her being around ...but he also got some rest .... at the house.
He still has a cough but with continuous doses of his meds he should be okay.

Just a quick note for those who don't know : Mom was put in the hospital yesterday. She took daddy to the doctor for a bad cough and then she told the doctor she was still sick . She hasn't had a voice all week. They gave her blood test and x-rays and come to find out she has phenumeonia......so she is at KC hospital. They had her on antiobiotics and today were going to have her on some breathing treatments. Hopefully she will get some rest in there as well. She never stops when she is at home. She had this cold almost a week ...and it turned into this partly cause she doesn't rest.
