Mom and dad are home. Safe and Sound! Dad is complaining of some pain in his lower back and mom is just sore. Ofcourse Dad is joking about it. He says " look what Eva gave me for Christmas!"

Thankful

I don't want to dampen everyones Christmas... but here is the TAhoe. Looking at this makes you very Thankful......... that mom and dad are ok. Praise God!

For those who don't know. Mom and dad had an accident on thier way home from Fort Worth, this morning. Mom hit ice and slid and hit a tree head on. They are both ok. It took the ambulance a good while to get to the ER because of the snow . They kept dad at the hospital just to make sure he is ok. He has a fracture on his back bone. Sorry ,,I am not there so that is all i can report on that . Mom is staying at the hospital ,,and Syliva is with her.
This happened outside of Loving . They took them to the hospital in Olney.

Mom should have her cell phone but not sure how much power she has.

First of all please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers . My dads brother Luis is in Hospice care right now . We went to see him on Monday. We are just awaiting the news as I type any time. Keep my dad,,and the rest of Uncle Luis's family in your thoughts. It kinda puts a damper on the Christmas holiday.

Now... I am requesting everyone send in a Family Christmas picture to the blog. If you don't know how to post yourself.... send it to me or Alice. I can't promise when I will have time to post it but I will sure try to as soon as I can .

Theresa Jecha Muesel graduated today with her Masters in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. We are all very proud of her accomplishment. She is now an official Longhorn and joins Lindsay, Ryan and Dennis as UT grads.

November 9th Birthdays

Sorry I'm a little bit late, but better late than ever. Yesterday, were birthdays for Vicki Lee Martinez and Eloise Maldonado. Vicki is the daughter of Eddie and Elise and Carol Saenz. Eloise, of course is grandmother of many of Escobar and Maldonado grandkids and the wife of "Crazy Grandpa Gil" LOL. A belated Happy Birthday to both of them. Oh by the way, Young Eloise is celebrating a very special birthday, Number 75. Wow, I hope I can look that good at 75.

Longhorn Game Sat 11/07/09

Linda, Pamela , Theresa and Justin enjoy the Texas Longhorn game on Saturday.
Pam's boss was nice enough to invite us to join his family in the suite. It was great.
This is a view of the game from the suite. You can actually see pretty good from the suite although this photo looks like its really far up. We were on the 50 yard line!
The UT band marched at halftime but what was even better, the UT alumni members joined them and they did an outstanding job.
