HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAELA & CARRIE LYNN
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MICHAELA MARTINEZ AND CARRIE LYNN (MARTINEZ) PEREZ-Circa 1979 or therabouts. Michaela's was yesterday July 28, and today is Carrie Lynn's. I had to dig deep to find one of them together. For those of you who do not know who they are, Michaela is the daughter of Erika Sigal and the late Bob Martinez and Carrie Lynn is the daughter of Rudy and Lila Martinez. UPDATE ON EARNEST ACOSTA'S FUNERAL
For any of the family's interest, this is what I have found out:
There will be a Vigil at Pierce Bros Mortuary Thursday, July 24, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at:
2425 W Lincoln Ave., Anaheim CA 90406. Services will be at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church at 8:00 A.M. Friday, July 25. Address is 5201 Evergreen Ave., Cypress, CA 90630. Burial will follow at VA Riverside National Cemetery, 22425 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA at 1:00 P.M.
I spoke with Sarah, one of Earnest's grandaughters and she said his phone numbers were kind of confusing so she would appreciate it to post it for any of the family so if you know any of the relatives that may be interested, please pass it on.

DEATH NOTICE
I received a phone call this morning from our Aunt Zoe Acosta that our uncle, Earnest Acosta passed away this morning, Sunday, July 20. Sad News. Uncle Earnest was the last of Mom's (Grandma's )brothers to pass away. I'm sorry that I could not find a picture of Uncle Earnest without spending a day or two looking at my old pictures to try to find one. If any of you find one you might post a picture of him. I'm not sure of his age, but I blelieve he was around 80 or so.
The old saying that I can remember of Uncle Earnest was that after he moved to California (in his younger wild days) he would drive to Fort Worth for a dance on Saturday then be back to work in California on Monday. Uncle Earnest worked for over Forty years at Douglas Aircraft which changed to McDonnel Douglas and now currently Boeing. Uncle Earnest worked on many aircraft including the DC-9 and MD-80. Please pass this news on to those who may not be on the blog.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EVA
Happy Birthday to Mom! If you don't know who this is then you really shouldn't be reading our family blog!!!! Eva is 79.......... correct me if I am wrong--then don't go tell her I got it wrong! Look and you will see Eva has been celebrating for the last few months...Hope all the females in this family can look as good as mom does when we reach this age. Her phone will be busy all day but you can keep trying --hahahaha!! Dad will pull his secret telephone wire if she doesn't ever get off...hahha! Sssshhhh don't tell her ---she doesn't know about it!

Jalen's 13th B-Day
Our Son Jalen turns 13 today.......but he is not home to celebrate. He is at Camp Hale, OK with the Boy Scouts Troop 127. We are so proud of him and all his accomplisments, he has been accepted into the honors program at Barnett Jr. High for 7th grade. We love you very much!!!
