Happt Thanksgiving from 9000 ft. above sea level

Here we are at The Lodge. Our dinner was great, but Imissed my family in Texas, and Roper missed his macaroni. Went back to the cabin and watched the Cowboys. There were no leftovers to munch on.

Update on Rita

Rita seems to be improving...they started a new antibiotic last night and it seems to be working better. She is still having fever and chills but less often. I saw her today and she looked much better AND she is starting to eat again! We know she is better when she is eating! haha The hospital number is:
817_336_2100 Room 428 (Plaza Medical Hospital) if anyone wants to give her a call.

FRIDAY NITE LIGHTS

Roper and his friends on Friday nite. Painted thier chest for show of Sprit......or stupidness. It was freezin that night. The stands went wild and I looked down and there they were. I told him I would not take him to the dr. he would have to just use VICKS, if he got sick!! Posted by Picasa

RITA

Just wanted to update everyone on Rita's hospital stay. The doctor decided to keep her for a couple of days. She has a kidney infection and the antibiotics are slowly working. We all know her immune system has a hard time with any infections. When I left tonight she was not feeling well...fever and chills. Poor Rita...let's everyone pray for her speedy recovery. Hopefully her fever broke and she got to watch Mario and Emmitt dance tonight!!! She was really looking forward to watching that. Let us all be thankful for our health and for our family as we approach the Thanksgiving season.
