Happy 26th Birthday Justin!

Today is the newest member of the Martinez clan and my husband Justin's Birthday.  Unfortunately we are not able to celebrate properly because his grandfather passed away on Sunday.  Hopefully next weekend we can celebrate with Mom at the Oasis.

Yesterday, October 8, was Brenda Taylor's Birthday. Sorry Brenda for my forgetfulness. Brenda is the daughter of Betty and the late Dan Martinez. Lets all wish Brenda a very Happy Belated Birthday. Uhm, I think she is old enough for retirement now. LOL.

Fall @ the Smiths

Here is my new dog. I bought him home from the pound. He looks like half chiuahua and half pomeranian. Absolutely the best dog . Potty trained and very good natured . Named him Elko since I bought him with the money I won in Elko on the Nascar races.

New Addition to the Jecha Family

We have a new grandpuppy in the Jecha Family. Pamela has a new puppy named Ratchet. He is a Sheltie. Ratchet has a big brother Rocco, who is learning that he is not the center of attention anymore. Ratchet has an Uncle Chaco who lives with Grandma and Grandpa, Linda and Tom. Ratchet is very cute and very smart, just ask Pam.

Mom has the shingles in case anyone doesnt' know .
She has been hurtin with her neck for about a week.. then her arm .She went to the dr. on Monday and he told her it was a muscle .. Gave her muscle relaxers... next day she was stilll in pain ... her and dad found a sore on her back. Doc confirmed it on Thurs. Gave her meds and she was still inpretty bad pain this morning.

Today is Elise and Eddie Martinez' 18th wedding anniversary. Of course time has aged us somewhat, but we thought you would like to know what we used to look like about then. I believe she still is as pretty as she was then. Happy Anniversary to us. We hope we can see at least another 20 years.

I believe it will also ask you to log on.... and I think you have to set up a google acct. Try all this..and see if it will let you post. Does anyone have any other helpful tips????

Roper and Grandpa and Speed demon Grandma

Mom and Dad came to Abilene today . We had lunch being that Roper leaves to college tomorrow.

We leave tomorrow morning on our way to Levelland , South Plains College..which is just west of Lubbock. Taking a kid to college is an experience for me... Hope I do ok. Seems like yesterday Roper was going to kindergarten.

Mom has some news of her own...I won't tell.... vroom vroom... is all I will say . Give her a call.

I told her I wouldn't put it on the blog!! LOL!
