Kirk Update

Hi everyone...just wanted to give you an update on Kirk. I didn't update yesterday so Theresa could have her day on the blog. Anyway, Kirk is in a room now ...room 487 (Harris Hospital). He says they may be sending him home on Monday. He is still in bed and has not been up. Well, he stood up Friday afternoon for an x-ray and passed out ....so there you go. He tried to stand up yesterday and said the pain was really bad. He has a hard shell back brace that he calls a turtle shell. I believe he will require Home Health Care and physical therapy when he goes home. He can hardly turn over in bed without help. He is in good spirits and is anxious to get home but I know they will be in for a long recovery. We have yet to speak with any of the Dr's...we never seem to be there when they make their rounds.
