It is with great sadness that I must tell you that we lost Harley on Monday, Feb. 25. Without giving too much detail, I will tell you that we made a very, very hard decision to let him go. Harley was given to us 11 years ago when he was only 3 years old. He was really the best dog ever! Those of you with pets know the sadness we feel. We have many memories and truly miss his presence.

For the kids!!
Google is hosting an art competition called Doodle 4 Google.
Today is the official launch of the competition where we'll invite K-12 students
across the U.S. to design their own version of the Google logo. One
lucky student will have his or her doodle on the Google homepage for a
day (May 22nd). The winner will also receive a $10,000 college
scholarship, laptop, and computer equipment for their school. Prizes
for finalists include trips to the Googleplex and T-shirts featuring
their doodles.
Children can participate only through schools that register for the competition.
Please reach out to any elementary or secondary teacher (Grades K-12)
that might be interested in Doodle 4 Google and let them know about
the competition. Ask them to visit www.google.com/doodle4google. We
want as many kids to get the chance to participate as possible!
Registration for schools closes on 3/28/08. Public
entries must be postmarked by 4/12/08,

Eva
Mom came thru her surgery very well. Her doctor said she was real tight in that spinal column and he had to do a quite a bit of scraping to clear the path for her nerve to be free. She did not sleep well last night but we'll see today. She has been very tolerant with her pain but they did give her some morphine last night. She may get to go home today ...she is in room 7718 so if you just call 325-670-7718 it will take you straight to her.

YOU BETTER VOTE-------OR TELL SOMEONE TO
Just a quick update on mom and her surgery. I sent out the article on her doctor the other day to some of you . Well I had two clients yesterday ...one is a surgery nurse ...and one works in surgery with her doctor. Both said ....If they were having back surgery in Abilene that is who they would want working on them. They said he was an excellent Doctor and when he was doing his residency in Dallas they didn't want him to leave........ they wanted to keep him there but he chose to come home. One nurse may end up working the surgery ....we wont know till Monday . Anyway that made me feel better and mom too. Have a great weekend!
