Just in case you are out of the loop...here is the scoop . Dad put mom in the hospital this Monday. Her legs were swollen and she was out of breath and energy like she is alot here lately. They gave her some Lasix....and a pint of blood. We tried and I have not known why the doctor has not tried to rush her into getting a pacemaker. I finally talked the doc into using her standing as her doc to call Abilene to see if there was a sooner appt we could get before the 11th. SO she called and guess what " there was an appt. available the very next day " . So she took it ...when she came and told mom and me we told her we couldn't do the next day because mom is on COUMADIN... hmm ... Mom has to be off the Coumadin for 6 days... When we were talking sooner we were talking something along those lines.
Anyway she's home ... she is feeling alittle better . She has been told not to do anything ...but just sit around . I imagine that phone is 'HOT ' .... Her blood count was better ... She said she was teaching dad to work the washing machine and they ordered MEALS ON WHEELS for the next few days until the surgery.
On the 11th ...at Abilene Regional ... they will have moms pacemaker put in ..and dads angiogram done. Moms procedure is at 1:30 and dads at 3:30 I believe.
Dads peppers probably got frozen last night but here he is with two peppers he was so proud of ...so i took a picture. Gary has got the majority of the peppers...and he has LOVED them .

We had Thanksgiving her at my house. Everyone had plenty to eat ..way too much food. Dad had a great day with the Cowboys win. Everyone wants to know how mom's pacemaker is doing ... David sent me this pic ....said " pacemaker is working fine" . See what they do to my mom when i'm not around .

Happy 60th birthday today to my wonderful sister who still looks ....well let's just say "60" looks damn good on her!! Cheers to Linda...a great wife, mom, sister, grandmother, and friend. So happy to have her in my life!
