Just wanted to announce that Ryan and Rachelle are officially engaged! We are so proud of him...he chose a beautiful,smart, young lady. Rachelle has been a part of our family for several years and we already love her! No wedding date has been set yet but we will keep you posted. Congratulations to Ryan and Rachelle!! We have one more blessing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Fun Weekend

So this was a fun weekend for us. Saturday morning I ran my very first 5K...it was a Halloween fun run in Watauga. Ryan and Rachelle were here for the World Series Game 4 so they competed with me. Rachelle was kind enough to run with me and Ryan went way ahead of us. I finished and that was my concern. Of course I had to walk some...I didn't run the whole way. I feel so proud that I finally finished a 5K at my age. I hope to do it again soon and try to get a better time and someday maybe RUN the whole 3.2 miles. Saturday night Christy got us tickets at Billy Bobs for Dwight Yoakum. It was probably the best seats I have ever had for a concert! Front and center...he put on a great show and he can still shake a leg! So tonight Ryan and Rachelle are at the Rangers game...how awesome is that? Hope they get a win tonight. Go Rangers!!

Tom and I got married in Knox City 29 years ago on October 10th. This is an old photo but we look the same! Went to a winery in Marble Falls and enjoyed some great TEXAS wines. Fantastic weather in October in Austin Texas.

Girls Trip

Rita had to go to the transplant docs in San Antonio..so we made a girls trip out of it . We stayed in San Antonio the first night and then drove to the hill country to Fredericksburg and stayed the night.
