We want to officially announce that Phillip will be retiring from American Airlines on Friday, June 3. He will leave with 15 years of service. Congratulations to Phillip!

Happy 3 month birthday Matthew Muesel!

Today is Matthew's 3 month birthday.  He is now 17 1/2 pounds and 26 inches long.  He is talking more and smiling and sleeping better too.  Time flies! I go back to work in a couple of weeks so he will trial daycare next week.  Wish us luck!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to the wonderful moms in our family. Today we want to honor our moms who gave us life and endless love. Mom ( Grandma to some of you)...was 17 yrs of age in the top picture and the bottom one says taken in 1936 so that would make her 29...same as Lindsay! My picture with my kids was taken Christmas in Vegas. I hardly get both of them at the same time so I treasure the moments that I do. So in honor of Mother's Day let me say that I am so proud to be " Mom" to two of the best children ever...two beautiful souls! Lindsay and Ryan..I love you! And to my Mom, we miss you and know that you are watching over us.

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter.  Ours was nice and quiet, we went over to the neighbors for lunch.  Here is a picture of Matthew with his Easter winnings.  Next year he will be big enough to hunt for Easter Eggs!

Alice's birthday

Well we got together in Fort Worth for Alice's birthday. I drove down that morning and drove back . I was so tired when I got in I didn't post any pics. The next day I sent abunch of pic to Blogger off my phone. They didn't make it here...hmmm I don't know where they are at.

Trying the new Android all to post directly. The app is called Blogger. Here is the sunset from our house on Saturday night . You can see some of the smoke haze... Every night here we are experiencing the smell of smoke and a haze... WE NEED RAIN BAD!!

Its my baby's birthday .... Roper is 20 ..hard to believe.............looks like a trip to Vegas for him next year.

Theresa's Baby Shower

Last Saturday we attended a baby shower honoring Theresa Muesel at Linda's house in Georgetown. Rita, Sylvia, Eloise, Christy, and I joined others there in snacking, playing baby shower games, and watching Theresa open all her baby gifts. Pamela and Meagan did a wonderful job planning the baby shower. We are all waiting for the baby to come next month!
