Today is the birthday of our mother, Eloise Martinez-Escobar-Maldonado! We all came to Johns Mansion in the hills, after we attended church. Yes we got up! We have alot of fun getting together. Some of you may not know how old she is. Next year will be the big one. Let's all wish her a Happy Birthday!

I Left My Heart in Santa Monica

Well after a long week, I made it back home minus 1 baby girl. Got Lindsay set up in her new place...with a little help. Jeff (Brenda' son) and his cute girlfriend came to help me move some furniture and set up the tvs. They saved the day for me! Lindsay and I were overwhelmed with all the work we had to do to get all the boxes unpacked. But we got it done...and it looks great. We also met Greg (Eddie's son) for dinner one night and had a great time visiting with him. Isn't he handsome? Must be the genes! haha Ok, all you relatives in California...watch over my baby girl!

Today was Jessica's Birthday and she was very excited and had a
great day at school. She wanted to go to Golden Corral and
all the servers sang "Happy Birthday" to her so she was
super excited. She will celebrate this weekend with a party at
Libby Lu with family and friends.

Hi everyone!

As most of you know, I will be moving to a land of palm trees, sunny skies, and beautiful beaches. Yes, Santa Monica, California has decided to steal me from Texas!
In less than a day, I will be on a plane with a one way ticket to begin a new little adventure in my life. An amazing opportunity with Google was just too good to pass up. I will be working with the entertainment & movie studios helping them with rich media Internet ads. I have a great place ONE mile from the beach and plan on riding my bike to work! I absolutely love it out there. I love wearing my longhorn gear out there, too..
Texas is my home, always. Born and raised. While I am really excited, I will miss 3 things very much: My parents, my friends and good Mexican food.
It means the world to me to have everyone's support. I am sooo blessed to have such a great family! Maybe we can even have a reunion out there..

See ya'll Thanksgiving! (and yes, I will always use that word!)

Last night we went out for Mom and Justin's Birthday. Mom' s is today the 26th and Justin's is tomorrow the 27th.  We watched the sunset and had drinks at The Oasis and dinner at Z Tejas.

Everyone Please Say a little Prayer for 4 (Victor IV)

Victor IV had a little accident on his dirt bike this past weekend. He has 7 fractured vertabrae in his upper back. He has 3 spine and neck and back injury specialists taking care of him and they feel he will make a full recovery without surgery. He will be in a chest/back brace for several weeks.

Today he looks much better, and hopefully he will be released by Thursday or Friday. He is turning 14 on Nov. 17th. Just please mention him in all your prayers for a speedy recovery. Thanks to all in the family.

• I BELIEVE THE 6TH , WHICH WAS MONDAY WAS TAMRA'S BIRTHDAY. MICHAELA DAGUHTER,,,ERICA'S GRANDAUGHTER. I DIDN'T HAVE A RECENT PICTURE SO I DIDN'T POST ANYTHING ON IT ....S O WE CAN STILL WISH HER A HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
• JOE SHOULD BE GETTING HIS HEARING AIDS ON THE 16TH---YEAH!
• MOM IS GETTING HER FIRST COLONSCOPY ON THURSDAY- we will see how that goes!

Stomping grapes was pretty gross, and who knows how many people stomped before us! Mom stomped too hard and got grape stains on her shirt and on my leg!

Fall Creek Vineyard Grape Stomp

Hi everyone! I have been busy with grad school so I haven't been able to post these pictures from August 23rd. Mom, Dad, Pam and my boyfriend Justin went to Fall Creek Winery in Tow, Texas (by Lake Buchanan) for their annual grape stomp. It was hot and sweaty, but we had fun and drank a lot of wine (which Pam wasn't too fond of). Mom and I stomped grapes (pictures to follow) and we took a tour of the winery.

I have been wondering if there is there is trouble with posting on this blog. I have tried to help everyone I can to be able to post. I guess everyone is so busy there is no time to take part in this blog. I appreciate everyone who does take the time to post or comment. It seems like it is the same ones over and over.
