Sad News From California

Brenda and Al Taylor are mourning the sudden loss of their daughter, Grace Temperance Taylor, as a result of a brain aneurysm. Grace passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Grace was 36 years old and leaves behind a nine year old son, Mason Michael Hughes. A private memorial service is planned at a later date.

Remember last year?

Remember last year when Roper won the 500.00 check from HEB for catching that calf.....well here is what that 500 help purchase. Her name is 'SNOWBALL.." She is a Charloais heifer. He will show her tomorrow at the West Texas Fair. He bought her this summer.... and has had to train her to walk along side him and not be scared of people. There is alot of hard work . This pic was of tonite at the fair getting her washed, blowdryed, and clipped....ready to show tomorrow.We were there till around 11:30 . As she gets older she will continue to show. We may be taking her to the Ft. Worth Stock show.... Fun , Fun,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Joe-POLYMYALGIA RHEAUMATICA

Just a quick update on my dad. We went to the dr. on Monday and everything looked good on the blood test results. Everything was negative as far as liver cancer, ...lead poisioning etc. He did show inflammation of tissue but that was not unusual for that day when dad was in so much pain. So we are pretty confident with her prognosis. (see above)

She has reduced his predesone and will continue to do so. She recommended Dad keep seeing the internist here in Abilene and only see the family doctor in KC for minor things. I so agree.

Dad is feeling sooo much better and eating ofcourse alot better.He told the Doctor his meat was not hurting anymore. She just laughed and shook her head . He actually can walk around with alot more ease so mom took him straight to the mall and walmart , Monday. He is ready to come and help me with my beauty shop and get some stuff ready. Thank goodness , I have my dad back ---the one I am used to seeing.
