Update on Eddie

Well, I got a phone call from Eddie just now and he sounded really well. He is having some stomach problems and they are trying to pin point the cause of the problem. He also said they had him sitting up on the side of the bed for just a few minutes today. Sounds like it will be a long recovery for him...no weight on the hip for maybe 3 months. They are preparing him for rehab...he has a wheelchair and we assume that he will learn how to get in and out of that thing at rehab without putting weight on his bad leg. OUCH! They are in a private room now and Elise is staying there all day and night. It is a day to day process for him and the pain has been unbearable. Please pass the update to anyone who cannot see this blog. Let's all keep Eddie and Elise in our prayers.

Retirement Announcement

For those of you who don't already know, I am retiring at the end of this month. I wanted to share my retirement flyer from Lockheed with all of you.

Eddies Progess

Okay I don't know how accurate all this is but mom wanted me to post on the blog the report she got on Eddie from Betty.
According to Betty ..the day her , Rudy and Lila were there...which I believe was Wed. was not a good day for Eddie. He was in alot of pain and did not care about seeing anyone . They were only allowed 15 min. to visit. The next day he was alittle bit better and in better spirits. She heard Elise is not allowed to have her cell phone in there so she is not able to get any phone calls.
If anyone has anything more accurate please feel free to put it on the blog so we can all know Eddies progress.
