This is what we woke up to Wednesday morning. School was out all day Tues, and didn't start till 10:00 on Wednesday. It was around 13 degess the morning of these pics.

A PAUSE FOR REFLECTION
Today would have been Daddy's (Grandpa's) birthday. He would have been 108 years old (1901-2009). Happy Birthday "POPS". We still remember.

The All Male Beauty Pageant
Last Saturday Roper's Sr. Class sponsored a ALL MALE BEAUTY PAGEANT to raise money for project graduation. Roper was a good sport and entered. There were 6 Sr. boys, and the rest were thier teachers, principals,,,and the Pres. of the school board Roper made a cutie pie!!!

Marion and Dominique Barber
We were invited to the Mavs/Utah game in the Dr Pepper suite and got to watch the game with Marion Barber, his brother Dominique (he plays for the Houston Texans), and another college friend of theirs. Also in our suite was T.O.'s assistant, she was very nice also. A friend of mine is a director at Dr Pepper and he was the one that took us. Food, drinks, and excellent company! It was a fun night.

Paulines son
Manuel Casillas , Pauline 's oldest son passed away today . He lived in Fort Worth. He had a heart attack on Sunday.

FREDDIE ACOSTA
Mom just called to say that Freddie Acosta passed away around 8:00 tonite. I think everyone knows he is Lydia and Alfred Acosta's son. He had been on life support after having an aneurysm a few days ago. He was 48.
