HERE IS A WEBSITE FOR THE PIC AT PICASA:
We had a great time and plenty to eat. Beautiful weather....also. Oh yes we played our Mr. Right and Mrs. Right game with mom and Rita making it interesting . Instead of $1 gifts we played with envelopes filled with $1 bills except one had $25 . Dad won. Then David won everyones elses dollar with the one with the highest serial number on it. SINCE WE WILL ALL GET TOGETHER SOMEWHERE FOR CHRISTMAS, LET'S REMEMBER TO TAKE A FAMILY PHOTO OF EACH FAMILY TO POST ON THE BLOG. THAT WOULD BE SO COOL TO SEE EVERYONE IN A FAMILY PHOTO. THE PICTURE OF MICHAELA AND ERIC AND THEIR FAMILY WAS GREAT!

BRINGING HOME CHRISTMAS
A train heading west to Texas. Hope it is bringing that Giant Flat Screen Plasma that is bringing Alice J. that Christmas present she is wishing for. Those NBA games in HD are looking real good. Just maybe we'll see the Cowboys on that plasma for the big Super Bowl come next January.

FINALLY RAIN IN SO CAL
Finally we're back in Southern California. We got back around 2:30 p.m., Tuesday the 27th. While our trip started with sadness with Elise's father passing away on the 13th and the funeral in Gilliland on the 17th, we got to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with all our friends and relatives. For those of you in Texas, thank you all so much for your sympathies and kindness and your hospitalities for letting us stay with you while we were there.
Last Friday, it finally started to rain in Southern California. We have not had any significant rain for about an year and a half. We had around 2 1/2 inches in our area and we really needed it. The picture above is what we called Lake Maybe or Lake Imagine because it is almost always dry. It is the lake across the street from us.Our house is just across the street from the houses you see in the foreground. I have uploaded some pictures we took at Thanksgiving and some pictures while traveling home. You may view them on a Google Picasa Web album. You should be able to click or double click on the URL below. If not copy it and paste it to your browser. go to where it says slide show and enjoy the pictures.
