For those who don't know what that is : they let out 10 calves and 20 kids chase them down. First one to put a halter and bring them in to the center of the ring gets 1st and a $500 check. The check has to be used to buy a livestock animal. He will do anything for money. This is his passion.

Even though the game sucked, Austin was still a blast. Great weather! There were thousands of people in town so Ryan was nice enough to let us stay at his place, which was surprisingly clean and decorated pretty nice.

I am headed to Irvine, CA for 2 weeks this Sunday for a business trip. The day after I get home, we are headed to Puerto Vallarta for 4 days. Whew!







Mike went to Oregon State but as you can see has turned into a Longhorn fan! He said after visting Austin and hearing all of my stories, he said he felt cheated of a true college experience!

My new ride!

Mom has told everyone about my new caddy. Her and Dad call it the "black panther" . So here's a pic of it. It is a 2006 CTS. Gary says it's my -anniverary of the day we met, birthday, Anniversary of our marriage, Christmas, Valentines......etc. Reckon I can have a Cinco de Mayo present??? It does not take very much to fill it up unlike the surburban. It's fast too...has 225 horsepower . I love it.

My meho bought his first truck today. It's a 2000 , and it needs some work. He is soooooo excited. He doesn't get his license till March so that will give him plenty of time to fix everything to the way he wants it. The radio doesn't work........ha!! So he is ready to fix it first. I feel so old.

What a couple!!

Here is Gary and I celebrating our 5yr. anniversary of the day we met (Sept. 5 01) . We go back to the restaurant every year and have drinks and dinner. Wonder how long we'll do this!!! 

this is Tamra (on the right in red) at her compitition last month. It was her first time competing as a first degree black belt. Now that she has went up a rank the girls are usually taller than her! She didn't get beat up too bad!

Here is a Joe and Eva with their first great-grandchild Alyssa on her 2nd birthday. We all met at Davids and celebrated. Well we walked from Rita to Davids every other hour. We enjoyed looking at old videos of old family reunions. Lots of laughs!!!

My New Car

I went to Austin this weekend and Mom mentioned that Ford was having a good financing deal. So we went to look at a few dealerships including the one where Pam works and to make a long story short I ended up with my first new car! Didn't even need mom to cosign!
It's a 2006 Mustang GT Premium with leather interior!
