We are excited here at our house. The starting QB for Texas was named yesterday and it was our own Colt McCoy from Jim Ned High School outside of Abilene. We watched him thru high school, and we know this kid personally and Gary's nephew was his teammate. He is such a good kid in all aspects. So respectful, and a good Christian guy. We all wish him the best from this area. I know some people like the other guy from Brownwood.......but COLT'S our man!!!! Can't wait till Saturday!

Ok, Irene, we will put something up. Last weekTom&I & friends went to Fall Creek Vineyards in the Hill Country. In the background are wine barrels. The doors are from France, stable doors from Louis Pasteur's laboratory.

Here is Roper and Gary after riding the trails in Cloudcroft. It was sooooooo beautiful, a little piece of heaven is what they call it. We want to go and spend Christmas there.

Suggested a family blog. Some of the cousins hadn't seen each other in like 30 yrs. They are going to be trying to set one up . Guess I'm going to have to go teach Sylvia how to post and get her a digital camera.......then we can get Rita one. Maybe Santa Claus will bring Rita one for Christmas so she can have internet. Going to KC tomorrow to see MOM and DAD and show them my new ride.

Holyfield Fight - Pic from Dallas

Last night, my boyfriend Mike & I went to the Evander Holyfield Fight here in Dallas. We got to watch it (about all 2o minutes of it) from a suite - He works at the American Airlines Center (doing sales) so he gets the hook-up at all the events (and Mavs games!) Tonight we're headed to Fort Worth to eat Mexican with my mom and dad. Anyways, wanted to send a pic and say hi to everyone.

Here is Roper and his friend in Cloudcroft during vacation. This is at a place called Bluff Springs. Notice the waterfall behind them. This is a hidden place, you would only find it if someone told you where it was at . Good place for a family reunion.

Is anyone else having trouble posting pictures or is it just me. ...or has everyone ran out of pictures!!!!!!!!!! Mom and Dad went to Fort Worth ,,,,,, to help celebrate Sr. Rita, and Sr. Mary Michael celebrate thier 60 yrs in the sisterhood. Can u believe that many years!! Ray and Idella were going also. While there I guess they will all try to have fun without me being there.........(CAN'T BE DONE) . They can try I guess. I better not found out that Linda and Tom are there too for some reason then Iwill get mad,,,cause I was left out. Getting ready to start school here Monday . Roper will be a sophmore. He knows EVERYTHING..so I don't know why he goes. I know NOTHING of course. Later.

UT just got better!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say hi and show off one of the new pools on campus at the University of Texas - Austin! (Dennis - it's part of the rec center.) I felt like I was at a hotel pool - Palm trees, top 40 music and the lounge chairs even sit in an inch or 2 of water so you can lay out and cool off at the same time! I would have never gone to class if this would have been there :)
I went back a couple of weeks ago to see some friends and to visit the campus. It's crazy how much more value they have added to the University.
Can't wait for football season - Longhorns, National Champs!
