My dogs!

The first one is of me and my roommate Megan's puppy Winston. He is 12 weeks old and we are still trying to potty train him! The other is of me and Chaco. Chaco has met Winston and doesn't like him very much, but Indy likes to play with him!

ALONE IN AUSTIN

Well, since you wanted paragraphs...I am in a hotel in Austin tonight....BORING!!!!! I have training for work here all week. It is weird...I have never stayed in a hotel alone....I suddenly feel so bad for my daughter that has been traveling for her job for over 2 years...and she stays all over the U.S. But she stays in all the fancy hotels....state government only allows us to stay in rinky dink places. Well it is not that bad..Drury Inn. I stopped at Linda's on the way here this evening. Dennis and his family was there, so we all went swimming and then had dinner. Dennis is attending a workshop in San Antonio tomorrow. I will get to hang out with my son this week while I am here.
Like Irene mentioned earlier...Rita is really energetic now...Not sure what it is but she wants to go everywhere and she is so upbeat! I'm sure since she lost all that extra fluid she really feels better. It is so nice to finally see her back to her old self. Well, I don't know about everyone else but I am enjoying this blog. Hey Irene, could you send an "invite" to Dennis? Get with Linda for his email address. Goodnight ...TTYL

Saturday

Went to KC yesterday to the Skiles funeral. Rita ,Kirk, Eloise, and Gilbert were at Mom and Dads. Mom made dinner -----ummmmmmmmm!! I thought Rita looked and acted better than she has since the liver transplant. I was so happy to see her the way she was. It was nearly the "old Rita" like she was before. She had so much energy and laughed and never complained about hurting or anything. Had a good appetite too!!Ha!! We laughed all afternoon....talked about how Eddie used to call Johnny the 'HAWK" ..and how Rita usedto run around in her diaper in front of Daddy when he was seeing MOm and one time she pooped while sitting and playing the piano and Eddie quickly took her out before it ran Joe off. Kirk took them all to the park in the Brady Bunch station wagon and Dad and Gilbert rode in the back seat looking back. Wish I could have seen that!! NO I DON'T. We all left late in the evening and too bad yall missed out .

Skiles

Just thought I would let Eddie & Rudy know that one of the Skiles twin passed away . Willard. (The one married to Betty, Ceissa, Pam and Bruce's dad). He had been in the care home. I can guarantee that the other one "WEldon " will not last much longer. They both got sick and put in the care home. They are only in their early 70s'.
Mom and Dad were here yesterday . She enjoyed looking at the "bloo" page as she called it. She would read all the comments and laugh. She left me her albums with GREAT pictures in it but I still cannot upload any of them. I AM SO MAD .. I have tried everything they tell me to do.
Mom and Dad took me to town and we walked the mall. I was so sore today,, can imagine how they feel. Mom still drives like the freeway is the INDY 500. I just hung on. She drove because my surburban was in the shop and I was at her mercy!!! They stayed and had supper with me (fresh squash, and fresh okra from Irene's garden) . They both have so much energy and I don't know where they get it. (76 & 81 ) Tomorrow is the Watermelon festival in KC and there will be alot of folks in town. Its still hot here and the ground has big cracks in it. Well Eddie said we should write paragraphs about everthing so I did---besides I have nothing better to do...AS YALL CAN TELL.

The elderely are coming over today . So post some pics for mom to see when we get back from Abilene. I guess Iwill not be able to post until they fix thier problems. Mom is bringing me an album PACKED with some good pics.(along with some hot tortillas, and watermelons from KC) Alice , Linda, ---do I have permission to post the Christmas line dance picture??? I have respect for my elders!!! Hey wait a minute that may be the reason I can't post here lately!!!!

Okay guys I am giving this a whirl. I decided since we are always sharing pics amongst each other why not start a blog page . I don't know too much about all this but I decided to try it anyway. Send everything you can and tell everyone about it that you can contact. Since we can't seem to get a family reunion together we can do this. P.S.
